Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians recorded a 6-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League on Sunday.
The win would no doubt have been special, especially as it was the star Indian drummer’s birthday. However, the manner in which he left the crease caused people to argue over the decision.

Rohit was given for 3 points in the 5th delivery he faced in a controversial decision.
But as replays suggest, the ball did not hit the stumps, it was instead the glove of RR skipper and wicket-keeper Sanju Samson who touched the stumps and dislodged the bails.
“Unfair,” read a fan’s Twitter post after the dismissal.
Another fan posted a tweet that read “I watched Rohit Sharma box office replay several times, I think he is not out. In my opinion, it was Sanju Samson’s glove that was hit to the stumps. But regardless, the decision would have been known with precision if the DRS had been taken. I would like it to be reviewed”
