Salman Khan answered a question regarding Pathaan’s success and his role in it.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan broke box office records. After a prolonged dry spell that Hindi cinema had gone through except for some films like Brahmastra and Drishyam 2, spy thriller Yash Raj has rightly instilled hope in the entertainment industry. With the film hovering above the firmament at the box office, SRK ushered in a huge post-Covid-19 pandemic blockbuster that also featured Salman Khan in a cameo.

Salman Khan, who is set to appear on Rajat Sharma’s show Aap Ki Adalat, was seen in a promotional clip where the host asks if he was responsible for Pathaan’s success. Salman Khan quickly replied, “Bilkul nahi, bilkul nahi sir. Yeh credit Shah Rukh Khan se koi cheen nahi sakta, Aditya Chopra se koi cheen nahi sakta. Shah Rukh ne bohot accha kaam kiya hai. Yeh sab fans, Shah Rukh ki film dekhne ke liye taras rahe l’aur ek good time, good mauke pe yeh film aayi. I think this is the biggest hit in Hindi film industry (no one can take credit away from Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra. Shah Rukh did a very good job. His fans were waiting to see his film, then he arrived at the right time).”

Pathaan’s Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan scenes had garnered rave reactions from audiences who showed up to see Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Pathaan. The same excitement spilled out onto social media with netizens sharing photos of the two stars getting in on the action. So, seeing the craze, there is speculation that the two stars could be seen battling again in a Tiger v/s Pathaan movie.

Unveiling details about it, a business source close to PinkVilla said, “The plot of this epic two-hero crossover movie starring Tiger and Pathaan has been locked. The film will be the first true 2-hero collaboration for the two mighty Khans since the release of Karan Arjun in 1995. The story of this 2-hero Tiger – Pathaan film was developed by Aditya Chopra himself along with Shridhar Raghavan, who was appointed by Adi as the Mentor Writer of the YRF halo spy universe.”

Adding to that, the source shared, “It will be Tiger v/s Pathaan in this two hero movie. The film will be a showdown between the two giant superstars of Indian cinema, much like what happened between Iron Man and Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Batman vs. Superman in the DC Universe.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan recently released his multi-star film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film marked Salman Eid’s first big screen outing after four years. While Salman headlined the film, director Farhad Samjhi also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari.

News18’s review of the film reads, “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan doesn’t need you to use your brainpower and the directors make no apologies for that.” It’s simplistic and mundane and lacks novelty and even purpose. It’s pure entertainment and popcorn. Keep your judgments and justifications aside and you may not be disappointed.”
