Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni are the two longtime stalwarts behind Chennai Super Kings’ IPL success in recent years and the evergreen pair continue to deliver the goods in the moments that matter. Dhoni and Jadeja combined again to deadly effect on Sunday as the versatile player tricked Punjab Kings flyhalf Prabhsimran Singh while Dhoni did the rest behind the stumps.
Chennai Super Kings previously scored 200 thanks to the heroic exploits of Dhoni, the legendary skipper broke the last two balls for two straight sixes and helped CSK to 200/4 in 20 overs against Punjab.

When the Punjab Kings started their chase, Shikhar Dhawan and Prabhsimran Singh also started brilliantly but Dhawan left after scoring 28 points, Tushar Deshpande drew first blood as the opening partnership could only muster 50 points. Prabhsimran continued to impress but his inning came to an abrupt end at 42 after fly-half PBKS was cheated by Ravindra Jadeja.
Jadeja threw a good length delivery which Prabhsimran tried to attack down the track but he failed to get close to the ball due to the spin so Dhoni got the ball back and Prabhsimran was caught at the devoid, halfway down the field. The skipper of CSK again inflicted the stumping by combining with his longtime ally.

When Prabhsimran left, Punjab were down to 81/2 in their 201 chase as they looked to bounce back from a disappointing 56-point loss in their previous outing to Lucknow Super Giants.
