To mark the occasion, Manisha Koirala who will feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi was the most delighted. She even wrote a note to express her happiness.

For the uninitiated, Gangubai Kathiawadi was released in February last year and helped bring audiences back to theaters after the coronavirus pandemic. In the film, Alia played the role of an activist and a girl driven into prostitution. His performance was widely appreciated by all.
As for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project, Netflix announced Heeramandi last year, but those who follow Bollywood religiously know that it has been in the works for a long time. Billed as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project, the series will take storytelling to the next level. It will also have some of the best talent in the country. After a long wait, the streaming platform has finally unveiled the first look of the series and fans can’t contain their excitement.
As for the storyline of the series, Heeramandi revolves around the lives of courtesans in the pre-independence period. The eight-episode series will also feature a host of top Bollywood actresses like Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, among others.
