Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) appear to have dealt a blow with KL Rahul injured on Monday night. Facing against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) Game No 43, the LSG skipper dived to save a boundary but as part of due process he appeared to have hamstring injury.
The incident happened in the second innings of the match after RCB opted to strike first. Faf du Plessis hit a long ball from Marcus Stoinis through the covers and she ran for the fence. Rahul gave him a chase before stopping in front of the boundary cushions. He couldn’t save four points but injured himself grimacing in pain.

Physicians rushed to examine the condition of Rahul who did not look well as the LSG skipper was unable to stand on his own. His teammates and support staff helped him up, after which he cautiously left the pitch.
A string of injuries haunts LSG at a time when they are doing well in the tournament. Earlier on Sunday, left arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat suffered a shoulder injury while playing in net. However, an official word is awaited from the franchise on the fast bowler’s condition.
