After Roohi, Janhvi will once again share screen space with Rajukummar Rao in this film.
Janhvi Kapoor packed Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.
After starring in comedy horror Roohi together, Rajukummar Rao and Rao shared a post about their reunion on their individual Instagram accounts. Both are ready to star in Mr And Mrs Mahi. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma, who previously directed Janhvi in the lead role of her directorial debut, 2020 film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
She wrote that waking up this morning felt like a fresh start for her in many ways. She wrote in the caption, “Sharing snapshots from the shoot, Janhvi wrote, ‘2 years since I first picked up my bat. And now that we’ve finally wrapped up #MrandMrsMahi, I thought I’d wake up today feeling lighter and relieved because we’ve all given more to this movie than we even thought possible. But I feel a bit empty. Like a blank canvas. I feel like we went to war and saw so many heroes in action. @vikrant_yeligeti @abhisheknayar we would have been lost without you. And I definitely would have collapsed on day one alone @manushnandop sir you carried us on your shoulders and made sure you reached the finish line. @anaygoswamy for making every battle a beautiful picture. Janhvi took to her social media to announce the film last year. She wrote: “It’s time to get ready – it’s going to be a journey of two hearts chasing a dream! Featuring #MrAndMrsMahi, coming to theaters near you on October 7, 2022.”
Janhvi will next be seen in Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. She will also be making her Jr NTR Southern debut with a film tentatively titled NTR 30.
