“It’s a great win, boys. Sweet victory. Let’s go,” Kohli said, clearly thrilled with the win. He went on to talk about the importance of being able to accept criticism and return it in equal measure, alluding to the verbal feud he had with LSG coach Gautam Gambhir and player Naveen ul Haq.

“If you can give it, you must take it. Otherwise, don’t give it away,” he said, stressing the importance of being able to handle criticism and pressure in a high-stakes game like IPL.
Kohli also spoke about how important the win was for his team, especially as they were playing away.
“It was a very important win on the road for us. The fact that we had more support than the home crowd is an incredible feeling. Tells you how much we enjoyed as a team and how people support. And it’s a very nice victory. I feel very good for many reasons, but especially for the kind of character that we showed by defending this total”, he said.

Asked what distinguishes his team from the opposition, Kohli thanked all his team members for their conviction and determination. “I think everyone. The belief that we can do it. And we ended up on the winning side, which is great,” he said.

RCB defended their low score of 126 points against LSG and won the match by 18 points. The pitch was difficult to play, being very slow and sluggish, and it was difficult for hitters to score.
