Dividend-paying stocks: As the fourth quarter FY23 earnings season kicks off, companies are all set to declare the final dividend for the fiscal year. Elantas Beck India Ltd, Stovec Industries Ltd, Castrol India, Crisil Ltd, Embassy Office Parks REIT will trade ex-dividend this week with respect to the companies’ announced interim dividends.
What is the ex-dividend date?
The ex-dividend date is the date on which the price of a company’s shares is adjusted to reflect the payment of the dividend. That’s one or two business days before the check-in date. All shareholders whose names appear in the company’s list at the end of the record date will be eligible to receive dividends.
Castrol India Limited
Castrol India Ltd is a popular brand in the field of lubricating oils, having a market capitalization of Rs 11,454 crores. The company has yet to declare its FY23 fourth quarter earnings report which is due on May 9, 2023 and is sitting on profit of Rs 815.15 crores (TTM) on revenue of Rs 4,841 .54 crores over the same period. The company declared an interim dividend of Rs 3.5 per share. The stock will trade ex-dividend on May 4, 2023. The company has also set May 4, 2023 as the record date for the payment of the dividend.

CRISIL Limited, the shares will become ex-date for the interim dividend of Rs 7 per share on May 4. The recording date is also May 4.

The shares of Embassy Office Parks REIT will become ex-date for the dividend on May 4. The company announced that it would pay a dividend of Rs 2.81 per share. The registration date is May 6.
Elantas Beck India Ltd
The company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share. The stock will trade ex-dividend on May 2, 2023.
