16 point IPL board

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) recorded a tremendous 18 point win on Monday night against KL Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants. After setting the hosts a modest target of 127 points, Faf du Plessis & Co rounded them up for 108 with one ball to spare. It was the perfect revenge sought by RCB for their loss to Lucknow at Chinnaswamy last month. With the win, Bangalore jumped up the points table while Lucknow slipped.

RCB moved up to fifth place with a total of 10 points in their prize pool. However, they are behind LSG, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings due to low net run rate; -0.030. Meanwhile, Lucknow lost one position. A win would have taken them to the top of the standings, but after the shocking 187-point loss, they fell to third with 10 points and a net points ratio of +0.639.
