Mumbai Indians found their way back to winning ways with a sensational 6-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League game on Sunday. Tim David fired a hat-trick from six in the first three balls of the final to seal victory for the five-time champions at Wankhede Stadium. It was the 1000th game in the Indian Premier League and two teams made it memorable with non-stop action on the pitch.

It was also a special game for Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma, who turned 36 on Sunday and was leading the franchise to the money-rich league for the 150th time. But it didn’t work well for the swashbuckling opener with the bat as he was fired for just 3 by Sandeep Sharma on the last ball of the second.
